Workspaces and projects on Aria Cloud
How Aria is organised: a workspace holds your team, billing and domains, and each project is one app on a server. What each page does, on Mac and web.
In this page
Aria has two levels. A workspace holds your people, billing, domains, servers and AI connections. A project is one app inside it: its code, its aria.yaml, its variables and its addresses, running on a server. These docs say “app” and “project” for the same thing.
What is a workspace?
Aria makes your first workspace when you sign up. A Business account names it after your company, and a Personal account names it after you. You can rename it in Settings, add an icon, and make more with New workspace in the switcher in the header.
| Tab | What is there |
|---|---|
| Projects | Every project, with its state. |
| Aria AI | Chats about the whole workspace. See Aria AI. |
| Servers | Each server, what runs on it and how much room is left. See Servers and plans. |
| Billing | Plans, invoices, ways to pay and the prepaid balance. See Billing. |
| Team | Members, roles and invitations. See Team and roles. |
| AI & MCP | Aria AI’s connections, MCP keys, approvals and memory. |
| Domains | Every address of every project. See Domains. |
| Activity | Everything that happened, as it happens. |
| Settings | The workspace’s name, notifications and security. |
Which tabs you see depends on your role.
What is a project?
A project runs one thing on a server of yours. Choose New project, then what it is:
- Website, for a static site, a blog or a shop. See Deploy a website.
- Custom App, for your own app with the databases it needs.
Then say who it is for. Personal invoices are in your name. Business invoices carry the company’s details, with its company and VAT numbers, and you can change this later. Last, name it. The first suggestion is Production.
A project’s id starts with wsp_. The command line and MCP use it.

Can several projects share a server?
Yes. One server can run several projects, up to 5 by default, as long as they fit in its memory. Static sites stay small, so several share a plan easily. The project that owns the server pays for it, and the others cost nothing more. Aria checks the room before a project joins, and offers a server with room when you set a project up. See Servers and plans.
Should I use the Mac app or the web?
Both show the same workspace, and you can move between them at any time.
- The Mac app runs on macOS 26 or later. It connects Aria AI to your own subscription, confirms sensitive steps with Touch ID, and adds Files, which sits your folder beside GitHub. Download it.
- The web dashboard works in a browser on any computer at getaria.cloud/app.
How do I delete things?
- A project: open its Settings. You type its name to confirm.
- A workspace: an Owner opens Settings, then Danger zone. Aria lists what is still in it, and it can be deleted once that is gone. It goes for everyone and cannot be undone.
