# Aria Cloud documentation

> Learn to use Aria Cloud: launch an app, work with Aria AI or a coding agent, add Postgres or Supabase, and put your own domain on it.

Source: https://getaria.cloud/docs (updated 1 November 2026)

Aria Cloud runs your app on a private VPS that is yours alone. Aria sets the server up and keeps it running, at one flat monthly price. Aria AI or your coding agent writes one file, `aria.yaml`, and Aria builds, deploys and watches everything in it, with Postgres, Redis and self-hosted Supabase included at no extra cost.

These pages teach you how to use Aria, with exact steps you can copy.

## What are the two ways to work with Aria?

1. **Aria AI** is the AI built into Aria. It writes `aria.yaml`, sets things up, reads logs and fixes things, inside the Mac app and the web dashboard. On the Mac it uses the subscription you already pay for. In the browser it uses an API key from Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini or OpenRouter. Read [Aria AI](https://getaria.cloud/docs/aria-ai).
2. **MCP** is for a coding agent working outside Aria, such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Gemini CLI or Antigravity. It calls Aria's tools with a key that reaches one app. Run `aria init` or `aria mcp add`. Read [Connect a coding agent](https://getaria.cloud/docs/agents).

Both follow the same [safety model](https://getaria.cloud/docs/mcp).

## Where do I start?

- **Never used Aria?** Follow the [Quickstart](https://getaria.cloud/docs/quickstart) from sign-up to a running app.
- **Want to know how Aria is organised?** Read [Workspaces and projects](https://getaria.cloud/docs/workspaces).
- **Writing the stack file?** The [aria.yaml reference](https://getaria.cloud/docs/aria-yaml) lists every field.
- **Using Supabase today?** See [Self-hosted Supabase](https://getaria.cloud/docs/supabase) and [Move from Supabase Cloud](https://getaria.cloud/docs/move-from-supabase-cloud). To see what Aria runs for you first, read [Self-hosted Supabase, managed for you](https://getaria.cloud/self-hosted-supabase).
- **Built the app with an AI tool?** Read [Deploy a vibe-coded app](https://getaria.cloud/deploy-vibe-coded-apps).
- **Hosting a site?** See [Deploy a website](https://getaria.cloud/docs/deploy-website) or [Deploy a Next.js app](https://getaria.cloud/docs/deploy-nextjs).
- **Wondering what the server is?** Read [A managed VPS for developers](https://getaria.cloud/managed-vps-for-developers), then [Servers and plans](https://getaria.cloud/docs/servers).

## How do coding agents read these docs?

Every page has a plain Markdown twin. Add `.md` to the address, for example `/docs/quickstart.md`, and you get the same words without the page around them. Each page links its twin in the page header, and the site also publishes [llms.txt](https://getaria.cloud/llms.txt) and [llms-full.txt](https://getaria.cloud/llms-full.txt).

## What is live today?

Aria Cloud is live and generally available. Each plan is a private VPS, and one server can run several apps. A whole physical machine and GPU servers are by request: email hello@getaria.cloud with what you need. Plan prices are on the [pricing page](https://getaria.cloud/pricing).
